Since earning his bachelor’s degree in cinematography in 2019, Leonard has gained extensive experience on film sets in various cinematography and production roles, as well as with film production companies and equipment rental firms. He subsequently worked as a director of photography on fictional, documentary, and commercial productions.
He received his first international award for his work on “Bernardo” in 2023.
In 2026, he successfully completed his master’s degree in cinematography at the Hamburg Media School.
His focus is on developing visual concepts and the precise design of light, space, and movement. In doing so, he combines a technically sound approach with a keen interest in atmospheric and narrative imagery.
